The tour is definitely worth the 4 Euro price tag. They start every 15 minutes and are all in German. If you don't understand German (as was the case with us) then there are handy guides in many languages. We had them and were able to still get a lot from the tour. Definitely worth seeing. More

Pretty standard Residenz/palace. If anything, walk through underneath the Residenz to view the Rose Garden and the beautiful view of Bamberg from the terrace! More

I haven't been into the building but have tiloured the rose gardens more than once. The roses are absolutely gorgeous! Must See More

Tour was done in German but the guide took the time to briefly explain each room in english. The highlight of the tour is a room with an unusual painted ceiling. Standing in the center gives the illusion of extensive height and there is a monkey that stares at you no matter where you move in the room! Not recommended... More
