I have had the occasion to go ofeten in this place for a certain period. It was not the perfect period (Which honestly is quite all the year long!) as it was in february. BUT despite all th eodds (not always a good weather, cold, rain, etc) I confirm you that Villa Rufolo is wonderful, inside and outside. The House... More

Take the Sita bus up from Amalfi. Cost is 2.50 euros. Sometimes the bus goes to Scala first so don't panic if the bus seems to be heading in the wrong direction! The bus stops at Ravello and you then walk through a short tunnel into the main square. Villa Rufulo is immediately on your left. Admission cost is 5... More

Villa Rufolo deserves a special visit, even if Ravello in not part of your itinerary. It is hard to say what is more important: villa's architectural uniqueness or layout and the view. On the first element, the Villa presents and outstanding example of Norman architecture, influenced by Arabic motives. Still, villa's beautiful terraces, flower garden and a stunning view over... It is not difficult why travellers on the past and present fall in love with Villa Rufolo, the views from the garden terraces are truly beautiful and magnificent! There was an art exhibition when we visited and it was a lovely exhibition. A video presentation made up of black & white photos showing scenes from various Ravello music festivals in... More

Villa Rufolo is just off of the main square in Ravello, and costs 5 euros per person to enter. It is worth the money for the spectacular views alone! The house and gardens are a joy to walk around, but really what you come for is a picture in front of the very tree and scenery that is often associated... More

The 13th century Villa Rufolo costs 5 Euro to enter and it is worth every Euro for the magnificent view and sense of serenity you get from entering this place. The hanging gardens are truly beautiful. The view you get from inside the gardens is the Amalfi Coast view that you will see on many Amalfi Coast travel guidebook front... More

Elements of Norman architecture assembled into a set piece including gardens, belvedere and "the" view of Ravello. Right off the main (duomo) square in Ravello, it can't be missed.

This was a highlight of our time on the Amalfi. Amazing history and spectacular views. Well worth the journey from Positano.

Make sure you visit this villa even if its just to see the iconic 'Amalfi view'. The gardens aren't as beautiful as cimbrione but the view is a definite wow and will long stay in your memory!

Truly enjoyable day in Ravello! I think this was my favorite town on the Amalfi Coast. The views of the sea and the charm of the castle made for a great day! We would go back in a heartbeat!
