We did a solo sito bus ride from sorrento to amalfi and stopped in postitano on the way back and did the steep walk down to the church and back up. The whole town is beautiful and you spend many hours here. Gorgeous views.
After taking the SITA bus to Positano to Sorrento, I walked down the hill to the church and it was one of the most beautiful views I've ever seen. The Church could be viewed, arabesque tower and yellowish, oustanding building in the small town. The interior was not revealing, but it was beautiful and it allowed you to have a nice view of the beach and the town.
Great to see during a day in Positano. Quite likely you'll see a couple getting married, or you'll see the fireworks show that is a traditional part of getting married in Positano.
Beautiful Church and well worth a visit ...a definite hit and a must see if you're going to the Amalfi Coast....
great place for a proposal, amazing beautiful and wonderful setting, brilliant locals and an amazing part of a very memorable holiday, the settings are in my heart and we will be returning there without a doubt.
The priest were very accommodating and the setting was breathe taking to say the least. The altar is 1200 years old and it felt incredible to be part of such a milestone in our lives. If you are looking for a destination wedding, Positano is your place.

The Church is located between the village with it's postcard small streets and the beach packed with restaurants and little hotels.
It is a simple but quiet church and travelling from Sorrento, I met an old couple who wanted to see this church where they celebrated their daughter's wedding. How original and sweet!
