Orvieto is a lovely little city set on the top of a cliff. The narrow streets leading up to the Duomo do not prepare you for the size of the cathedral. Similar in structure and exterior decor to the Duomo in Sienna, it is more beautiful inside. The artwork and artifacts inside the Duomo are well worth your time.

The street leading up was quite crowded but the Duamo itself was very peaceful. I has moorish touches and I especially liked the spiral columns with coloured glasses.
