My wife , sister in law and myself could not have been happier with this combination wine / historical tour of the Tuscanny region. Our tour guide Sara picked us up at our hotel in Arezzo and immediately made us feel like we found a long lost friend that just happened to know everything about this region of Italy. We selected... We did 2 tours with Andrea during our stay. He picked us up at our B&B in Arezzo and we did a great tasting and tour at Poliziano near Montepulciano. Here we met Sara and her group. We had the best time! What wonderful people. Then we all went on to a tour in Montepulciano with light lunch and wine... More

Andrea picked us up at our hotel in Arezzo, and we were off for a wonderful day in the Tuscan countryside. We (my husband, myself, and our college-age daughter) toured two small, family- owned wineries, and now have a brand new appreciation for the wines of Montalcino. It was especially nice to be welcomed into their homes, sit at their... More

My husband and I, along with our daughter who was studying at a university in Arezzo, had the pleasure of a wine tour with Very Tuscany. Sara picked us up at our hotel and drove us through the beautiful Chianti region to visit some wineries. She was a delightful tour guide---well informed about Italy's history and equally well-informed about wine.... More

Andrea met us in Orvieto to take us to a prearranged lunch, before we settled in Arezzo for three nights. In the three days we spent with Very Tuscany, we could not fault Andrea's knowledge, especially when it came to visiting wineries, cheese makers and locations that are off the high volume tourist trail. He was always on time to... More

My husband and I and my in laws used Very Tuscany in September 2012 to visit wineries in Chianti and San Gimignano. Andrea picked us up in a very nice van on time at our B&B in Bettolle. He took us to Monterinaldi Winery in Chianti (AMAZING grounds and great wine) and Marmoraia Winery in San Gimignano (one of the... More

This Tuscan town makes a great place to take a young family who want to browse the market, stroll the pedestrianised streets in the old town, take coffee or lunch, look at the art works of Piero della Francesca, go to the fortress in at the summit top of the town, enjoy a view over the stunning Arno valley or... As part of our honeymoon in Tuscany, I wanted to arrange something special that would be a nice surprise for my wife and the sound of VeryTuscany’s tours really fitted the bill. They had some excellent reviews and after looking at the various tour options on their website, in the end I decided to go for the Brunello wine tour... More

Sara was our excellent tour guide. We visited two wineries, Poliziano and Talosa. Talosa is located in Montepulciano, a medieval village in the hills. The staff at both locations were friendly and informative. Wines were excellent. Touring Talosa, you will actually descend deep into the hills where their gigantic casks are stored. The casks regulate airflow using a unique glass... More
