The Temple and surrounding grounds is very impressive. It is amazingly preserved and the grounds are very clean. We stayed at the villa Athena, just a short walk from the temple which was very handy. Recommend this as a great site to visit. Certainly a lot cleaner and better preserved than the Acropolis in Athens.

I was very impressed by its big size, its still existing and its high location. It was preserved only because it was served for centuries as a church while many pagan temples were destroyed by Christianity. I believe it was impressing then as well and was chosen to be kept preserved as much as possible by additional archiologhical Italian preservation... More

Words don't really describe it, probably one of the best kept temples in the world, with views out to the med and surrounded with Olive and almond trees.

The site of the temples of Hercules, Concord and Juno is on a ridge which is set between a valley at the bottom of Agrigento and the sea to the south. It gives a great feeling of uplift, clear light and surveillance. The air was made clear and clean by breezes, and the majestic temples glowed deep gold red in... More

As part of an organised tour we visited the Valley of the Temples. It is amazing to think that 2500 ago the Greeks were constructing buildings of this size and complexity. The best way to view the Valley is to enter at the top gate and walk past each of the 3 main templles as you gently descend the valley.... More

the place is absolutely stunning, really good facility to be seen with small babies and todlers. good wifi guide, nice staff, not sure about price as we were of monday, which appeared to be free day, you can find loads of nice small place to enjoy the view and to enjoy the history - couples, solo, families, and students

Exquisitely rebuilt from the original blocks this is an awe inspiring building - Oh! the sights this must have seen down the centuries. Stunningly proportioned it is quintessentially elegant. I feel lucky to have experienced this special place and building.

Don't miss spending some time sitting and musing about this monument! It is one of the most well preserved and large sites in this site.

Never seen Greek ruins before, and these took my breath away. The entire complex is stunning and it's location in the hills leading down to the coast makes for some lovely views. I'd say it's worth the visit rain or shine. Pack some water though because the one vending machine is not plugged in and the restaurant is disgustingly full... More
