Enjoyed it more than the Roman Baths in Bath - excellent information and well set out, could have spent more time in the museum. There were kids activities on as it was Easter with staff in Roman dress. Well worth the visit.

Interesting free museums with Roman legionary baths and displayed artefacts. Information cards and audio points guide the visitor around the baths. Extremely helpful staff who are very keen to answer questions.

Excellent museum, well worth a good look round. Very helpful staff as well, would have loved to been able to join in the childrens activities with the guide. Dressing up, mock fighting etc.Unfortunately was too old to participate.

A very small collection of Roman artefacts which are nicely laid out. It's a pity that it is not more extensive.

You can spend a whole day visiting the four different free Roman museum sites in Caerleon. Take a picnic of visit one of the local pubs when you need a break. The children love visiting here time and time again. The staff are fantastic and always take time to talk to the children. The activities are free or a nominal... More

Spent a lovely few hours enjoying the main museum, the baths and the amphitheatre. It was a fine day, so it was nice to walk between the various Roman sites. Pick up a map in the tourist centre to make the most of your trip. A great way to engage with the past, and it's free entry. Plus, there are... More

Had a wonderful day out visiting the roman sites in Caerleon, with a highlight being the Roman Baths and the exceptional interpretation of the ruined site. Can't recommend highly enough.

One of the most interesting places you can visit. I love all thing ancient, particularly Roman, so maybe I'm biased. However, Caerleon is a fascinating town and this Museum really brings the history to life. Go and see the site of the barracks too, and the Ampitheatre of course!
