It is worth getting out and about to see the south west part of the island. This pagoda is normally deserted! Nice little beach. More

The Laem Sor Pagoda is a must. The original temple was located on top of the hill above the present site. But poor old Buddha kept getting hit by lightning, so he moved to the lower land. Just beautiful! A very large site that need to be explored. The Pagoda and the boat temple are just some of the gems... More

Although the golden Laem Sor Srivichai Pagoda/Chedi is good, what makes it very good is the setting.
