This is a terrible place! I took my nephew in the summer hols. The place is dangerous and it is very very expensive. If your going to ask people to pay this sort of price then make sure the place is clean and tidy the staff are polite and friendly not with a "i could'nt care less attitude". Very disappointing place... More

A must for railway enthusiasts, this LGB model is also suitable for most ages of children, even younger teens. There is loads of detail and the quiz helps to hold their attention.

Always a favourite when the weather is nice for a Sunday afternoon's fun. There is also the added attraction of the model boating lake nearby, remote control cars and the park area close by for the children to play. Riding on the model trains is enjoyable for parents, grandparents, great grandparents! and children with just a small obligatory donation to... More

What a lovely way to spend an afternoon with the children... and even the adults wanted to join in with the quiz... it became very competitive in our group!

The model village in Southport is rather pleasant however some of the exhibits i.e. the shops need attention, and some of the houses and models need painting. As someone who knows Bekonscot and although accepting that is a far larger model village I was still quite disappointed as was my husband for as model villages go there was a lot... More

What a wonderful little attraction. My son and I spent a couple of hours happily following the little trains around the scenery and searching out the answers to the quiz. I loved the little individual scenes that add a little life to the model and the trains fascinated my son. The model is well cared for and tidy and there... More

We spent around an hour here with our two boys. It offers reasonable value for money, with 3 or 4 garden scale trains running around between the trees, bushes and models. It's all well- maintained and the quiz keeps you amused as you stroll around.

Well kept and fascinating for children - it's great that different generations can remember this attraction, though the site has moved to its present position in 1996.
