Sailed from Ambleside to Lakeside on one of the bigger boats on a lovely sunny day. Excellent views from anywhere in the boat, licensed bar, tea/coffee and toilets- what more can a tourist ask for- all at reasonable prices

Relaxing and peaceful boat trip from Bowness to Lakeside combined with a trip to the motor museum.Easy trip to do - met at Lakeside by bus for transfer to motor museum.Buy the combined ticket (yellow cruise) for a discounted price.Good value allow at least 2hours for a proper look at museum.Museum has good cafe.

Excellent cruise all be it on a wet and windy day. Good facilities on-board also with very clean toilets etc;

Unfortunately, it was a dull day when we visited Bowness but we decided to go on a short lake cruise. The boat was very spacious & the commentary was interesting. Refreshments were available to purchase on board. We thoroughly enjoyed the cruise. Make sure you see the swans & other birdlife on the shore. Children love to feed them.
