Six of us recently went on the Purbeck Safari to celebrate 2 half century birthdays. We had an amazing day, fantastic weather (after a week of grotty weather), a really informative guide - thanks Gary- and lovely food, thanks to Carol, and the loan of Gary's parents super house to dine in. What great views! I would recommend this trip... More

My wife suggested we do the Jurassic safari after reading good things about it online. I was rather skeptical...however, I'm pleased to say it was actually very enjoyable! Some of the views were truly spectacular. Also, we both felt it wasn't too expensive. It could be slightly cheaper but that's nor a major issue. Overall, a fun experience. More

We went on the Hardy Tour on Friday 11th May, a special treat for my husbands birthday. It had rained all week but the day was warm and sunny and it was just the 2 of us and Gary our guide, his wife Carol had made a lovely birthday cake which we had with tea on one of our stops.... More

My friends and I chose to do the Hardy tour since we were already staying in Weymouth. The landscape around the area is beautiful and Gary is ridiculously knowledgeable about the area and the history and kept my friends and I entertained for the entire time. Would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone of any age! Thanks again Gary and... More

We have just returned from a long weekend away in Weymouth and spent Saturday afternoon on the "Hardy Country" safari.... what a wonderful afternoon it was too! There were 5 of us in the group and each one of us was made to feel special and included in the tour... Gary was very attentive, making sure we were comfortable etc... More

What a great way to spend an afternoon. We booked the trip based on TripAdvisor reviews. And they were correct. Gary's local insight, knowledge and friendly enthusiasm made for a wonderful trip. Born and bred local farmers boy- both his and Carol's family have farmed the area for generations and he had plenty of anecdotes and stories to tell based... More

We went on the safari with friends and had the most interesting, informative and fun day. Gary, our guide, couldn't have been more helpful and took us to places of outstanding beauty and interest which we would never have otherwise seen. His family connections and local farming background meant Gary had lots of entertaining local stories and points of inerest... More

We booked the Purbeck Safari and took two friends. Before the trip, I made my original enquiry via email. Carol was extremely quick to respond and friendly. She helped me to make a decision on which safari would suit us best. The day before the Safari, Carol got in touch to confirm the arrangements. The safari itself was lovely. We... More

I booked this safari for me and hubby when we were in Dorset in August 2011. Unfortunately I had to cancel as the weather was appalling on the morning on the safari - and no, I'm not a 'fair weather tourist' - this was the day Bournemouth flooded !! Anyway, I called Gary up and he was ok about this... More

A well worth trip through the heartland of Dorset. Gary shared his his knowledge of the history and wild life of the area and kept up our interest throughout the morning even though the weather was not kind to us. . A mid morning tea break with Carol's delicious fruit cake is something else to look forard to. John and... More
