Give yourself plenty of time to visit this large National Trust property. There is so much to see - not only the splendid house itself but also the 'below stairs' accommodation which is still in the same state as it was when opened again following years of being sealed up. The grounds are extensive and attractive with many lovely walks.

I have always enjoyed my visits to Belton House through the years from a schoolgirl, to a mother and grandmother. Have lovely memories of times spent there with family and friends. Today was no exception visited it with a friend after Woolsthorpe Manor. The added bonus for me is that I can access Belton House by public transport from Lincoln.

Well worth spending a day here as there are a ton of things to see. Guided tour of the house is too rushed but worth it all the same. Nice gardens to walk through and super restaurant and coffee shop!

An interesting stately Home Belton Hall is unique in that almost all of the artefacts , furniture etc are original - as procured from the owners, the Brownlow family who had it till 1984. We visited Belton House on the 4th May. The grounds are beautiful with formal gardens and lovely walks. We went on the basement tour which was very interesting and informative. It was fantastic being there on the hot Bank Holiday day - so a walk around the gardens and down to the lakes was most enjoyable. Visited Belton House on the 3rd of May. It is a beautiful English country house, with lovelygardens and magnificent park.There are below stairs tours, and guided tours of the house or just take your self round in your own time. There are facilities for families with young children, also a great Adventure Playground children and fun for all the family.... More

We went to Belton House and found and interesting and well run property. The restaurant was well stocked, with friendly staff. The house was interesting and the grounds were nice. Yet again up to National Trust standards.
