This was our third visit to Pots and Pieces. The place was packed but we managed to get a newly vacated table that was cleared immediately. The staff were very polite and helpful, very welcoming. The cakes were delicious, the best carrot cake I have ever had and the tea was really good too. A pot of assam tea leaves,... More

Thank you for your wonderful review, Sara and I are pleased you enjoy your visits to Pots and Pieces. As the cake-maker, Sara was also pleased to read you enjoy the cakes so much, why not try the Coffee and Walnut and Lemon Drizzle next time you come?! Thanks for spreading the word on Trip Advisor. Pots and Pieces is the place to go should you wish to feel welcomed and a ease, unlike some cafe's you don't feel rushed nor do you get the generic welcomes and tosh you get at the likes of some other high street chains. Pots and Pieces located in the heart of Ross-on-Wye (which is a beautiful sleepy market town,... More

We called in for a break in our journey and were tempted in by the lovely selects of cakes in the window and the unusual gifts and decorations for sale. We shared a toasted sandwich and a tea cake and the lady serving us asked if we wanted to have the tea cake later so it would be hot, a... More

Three friends and myself called in here last weekend. We really loved the coffee tea and scones with choice of homemade jams. The owners were really friendly and interested in us. Had good chat with them. The cakes looked yummy also. We were impressed with the items on sale there, and bought quite a few christmas presents. We enjoyed so... More

This place does the best scones i've ever tasted. The jam is lovely too, i think this might also be homemade!

Thanks for the lovely review. We have received some really great feedback on Sara's scones, even people returning from holiday Devon and Cornwall - just goes to show, you don't need to go all that way for a tasty treat (with local jam). Hope to see you again sometime. More

If you go to Ross you must call in here - the coffee is good and the cakes are fabulous - homemade maybe? Also some lovely bits and bobs for sale to browse while drinking your coffee. The staff are charming and smile! We shall return!

Thank you for your lovely feedback. Yes, the cakes are homemade by Sara and what we don't make, Truffles Deli five doors up from us provide (also homemade). Our staff are carefully picked and we encourage them to smile as it costs nothing and is sadly quite rare in some shops these days! We look forward to seeing you again. More

Visited here today, agree with previous reviewers the coffee is great! Try the cakes! We had the Lemon drizzle & the rocky road - both were good enough to win the great British bake off!

Thank you for your lovely review. The cakes you enjoyed were made by Imogen as my wife and I were away on holiday when you visited. I am happy to say Imogen has just been selected to go on a cordon bleu training course in London. We hope to see you again soon. More

Delicious homemade light lunches and teas. The veggie tartlet with sweet chilli sauce is yummy. The toasted sandwiches are scrummy and the cakes are pure indulgence. The pots and pieces provide great retail therapy and add such splendour to the decor. To top it all off it is always busy and buzzing with friendliness and bon homie. We love to... More
