Poole's cavern is at the foot of the path leading up to Soloman's Temple on the edge of Buxton. Go-Ape is nearby and there is an good picnic area and excellent walks close by. Come early to get a small group and you get the most of your visit. It was a small cave and the walk was easily accessible to pushhair users. Kids and adults loved it. The tout was about 40 minutes.

well worth the trip. Informative guide and went round in a small group so that was good. If you, lke me are a bit claustophobic, don't worry, there is plenty of space inside. We didn't have time to do the walks around it but the caverns were certainly worth the time

45min tour, guide was relaxed and funny. Close by to some walks so you can plan it with a walk to Solomons temple.

Very informative guides who provide so much information. Willing to ask questions and take time on tour. You are free to wander back at your own pace to look at everything again. Well worth a visit.
Very well priced cafe so worth stopping here for a snack.
