Now my kids are older its a great place to visit then let them go on the rides while you watch from the dry and warmth of the café.
The rides themselves were good, however a few of them are death traps waiting to happen, on the 'Barons Revenge' the first of all the rides I went on, as it landed in the water, my head hit the back of the slide, now, I had followed all the instructions at the top, but I must say I was in... More
I last went to splashdown as a teenager, recently I took my 8yo daughter. Whilst she had a great day I noticed that not only was it incredibly expensive for what you got but also dirty and outdated. The same rides exist, the showers and hairdryers are poor at best (i'd expect more from a public swimming pool where I... More
Visited Splashdown on Friday 25th October as this was the only weekday that it was open during our holiday. Paid £37 for 2 hours (it wasn't much more expensive to spend the whole day there). Plenty of really good / fast water slides to try out, some of them not for the faint hearted though. Kids enjoyed the 3 rubber... More
When my dad told me we was going there I was really looking forward to it, however I was disapointed when we got there and it wasn't half the size I was expecting. But minus that, the rides were great, I really enjoyed myself, best ride was the Grand Canyon by far
First time at splashdown Poole having visited the sister park in Paignton, I had a good time and everyone else seemed to too. Just some points I'd like to make, the changing rooms were filthy and need cleaning more often, we spent a full day here went in the same changing room before and after lunch, the same rubbish was... But once we got going, all was ok eventually. You need to love water and be able to swim for many of the rides. Also it is too expensive... More
Daughter had a fabulous party. Great party host Dan and all the other staff made it a thoroughly enjoyable and fun experience.
Really enjoyed splash down, visited with three children. Took advantage of the all day ticket , arrived at 8.50 before it opened. The facility opened at 9 and didn't get busy until around 11am. Two hours was fine as we were all ready for a break. We then headed back around 7 pm. It was quiet and we went on... More
