The great orme is an amazing sight but also the fish and chips inside the cafe is excellent too. We had a pieces of fish that were too big for the plate. Also their ice cream is to die for.

Came up here on the tram. Some interesting info to read if you break the journey between the upper and lower trams.
We walked up the Great Orme, but you can go up by car or public tram. You must have a look around the graveyard at the top - there is a poignant gravestone.
The ride up on the Tram is well worth the money a bit hairy but fun, you change trams hallway to the summit as they are cable hauled. There is a restaurant and shop at the top and some wonderful views over Llandudno and Conwy
Up the headland and back on the tramway to the Visitor centre and cafe at the top. Many interest points and superb views. You could go up on the tram and return on the cable car if it's running, getting even more spectacular views on the way down.
It was a rather a cold and windy day that we choose to take a trip to the top of the Great Orme. We went by tram, it was very cold. There is a lot to see at the visitors centre and very interesting. There is a screen that works a camera and you can see the wildlife from it,...

Walkers can stroll around the perimeter of the Great Orme in a couple of hours. There is a good causeway (you can't get lost) and the views are lovely all the way. If you start from the town (past the pier - there is no toll for pedestrians) towards the end of your walk you will get great views of...

arrived at top great views but a bit windy visited café very nice cream cakes etc. informative museum about boxing, then had a walk around at half way station.
Wonderful views over the surrounding area and, at the top, an unadvertised 'shrine' to one of Britain's best boxers, Randolph Turpin. The pub he owned is still there along with a lot of memorabilia - very interesting and unexpected.
We took a minibus tour at £7.50 each. Was well worth it. 45 mins trip to the top, an hours leisure up there and then another 45 min tour back. Learned lots about the area and the driver pointed out lots of places of interest in the town.
