Well signed and easy access off the A55 at Llandudno Junction. Convenient for anyone travelling the North Wales Coast or the Conwy Valley area. Well stocked shop for anyone wanting binoculars or monoscopes etc. The second building is the impressive café and toilet block. There is a reasonable selection of excellent food and drink plus second-hand books and viewing across... More

Really recommend visiting this place, both to tourists and locals! Great for families, plenty of room for the children to explore wildlife and they've recently revamped it so they have a children's play area outside. There's a cafe, a lovely little shop to buy wildlife related and local inspired gifts. The staff are really friendly especially to the children. They... More

We regularly visit the bird reserve as we live just outside Conwy. Our grandson stays with us during school holidays and we quite often take him there. There is stacks of parking and the shop sells lots of toys and outdoor clothing and nicnacs. It is very quiet and peaceful there and you can stay as long as you like.... More

Immediately off the A55 at the Llandudno Junction roundabout (take care because the entrance is immediately left ON the roundabout immediately as you leave the A55). Stacks of parking awaits you and also a small shop selling all kinds of things associated with the great outdoors. Once in take the pathway to the left side and just follow the signs.There... More

We were members, but you can use the lovely little cafe even if your not, and the food is great, The walk around the sanctuary takes about an hour and is lovely on a nice day.

If you have never stopped off on your way along the A55 you really must. This is a fantastic reserve and great to stretch your legs. The cafe is lovely with a fantastic outlook, nice food, very friendly staff, good prices and lovely facilities. Can get quite busy and sometimes there are not always seats available, but when you do... More

Warm and welcoming! Lovely video of weasels on the reserve, in the entrance. Work outside in progress. Will be good when it's finished. Lovely views from hides and many birds to watch. Staff very friendly and informative.

We visited in the summer with our 5 and 6 year olds who thoroughly enjoyed the reserve and the well organised activities. Good hides, shop and cafe. An estuary site with plenty of interest and thus very suitable for disabled , very young children, pram etc. The site is well established and is developing further .
