An interesting visit to Edvard Grieg's home. Spend plenty of time in the exhibit part, that s where you'll learn all about Grieg, and especially do not miss the film of Norwegian ladscapes put to Grieg's music, it will give you a peek into his inspiration. The house itself is charming if a bit disappointing, we are left to walk... More

This was an included stop on a tour I took. I learned a lot about Edward Greig. His house is open to tour. The museum has interesting items in it. The grounds are very pretty. More

As a classical pianist, I knew I had to visit Edvard Grieg's home on our recent trip to Bergen. I'm really glad I did. I've been to a few composer's homes, and this was one of the best I've seen so far. They had a great, small museum outlining his life, and the two or three main rooms of the... More

take a peek if you are able to make a stop here! There isn't a lot to see, so you don't need a lot of time... or money to visit. It's customary to pack a lunch and take a drink - bottled water ect on your day trips there... a rather nice and healthy way to travel. More

Took tram and then walked up to his summer home. Great little museum and lovely home on lake. Great yellow rhododendrons on the road leading up to his estate along with beautiful Plane trees. More

This small museum next to the house where he lived with his wife and the shed where he wrote his music is a pleasant tram ride and 20 minute wlak from Bergen centre. Nice to get out into the countrytside and learn a bit more about this very short but talented man! More

We traveled by tram and then had a 30 minute walk up and down roads to reach this place. A very interesting museum , another room where you could relax and listen to his music. A guided tour of the house was very informative about Edvard Grieg More

This small, cozy museum shows the life of Norway's greatest composer. Situated in a gorgeous, well-kept garden, this house is a museum for both music and the Norwegian national romance. If you are lucky, there might even be a piano concert on. More
