Could see where might be beautiful if it was snowing or if trees and flowers were blooming (why average review and not poor). But, when we went it was blah and muddy. The snow was mostly melted and the trees were barely budding. Resulting in nothing but yellow grass and brown trees. Not difficult to get to (37 minutes via...

Just 1 word to say when i left the metro : WOWW! In the winter time, it is so beautiful! The snow, tree and a blue sky attracted many people. I walked whole day in Nordmarka. If people love Norway nature, they also love Nordmarka too! Next winter, I will try ski! So much impressed about it's beautiful!
What a lovely place. Amazing views, good choice of things to do from taking in the views, skiing, walks, sledging hot chocolate and cake at a traditional restaurant and more. An easy trip up the hill on the metro with lots to see. If we return to Oslo we will be back.
A beautiful area to escape the city and enjoy the outdoors. Extremely convenient to get to. The reason why I'd live in Oslo.

A normal zone 1 ticket, either single of 24 hours will get you up there. Then you have a lovely walk...
