December is not the best time to visit this park. I want to visit this park again in the spring or in the summer.
Everything was quite nice--though if you want to see everything, be prepared to do a lot of walking, inside and palace and around the grounds. I actually found the audio tour to be informational, and learned a lot about the Emperor Franz Joseph I. An interesting place to visit for those interested in Imperial family history, or for a scenic... More
Visiting late November and mid week there were no queues. Christmas markets were an additional bonus. Take a guided tour to understand more of the history this beautiful summer palace .
The gardens of Schoenbrunn are so beautiful! The park is amazing, especially during the summer. We want to the Gloriette where you have an amazing view of the garden below and the palace and of course the city. The gardens are a must to see in Vienna.

Visited here as part of an organised tour with own guide. Well worth seeing and well worth having a guide as so much history and stories to be told. Beautiful grounds.
If you want to see something what you haven't seen after Versailles, this is the place to visit! It was wonderful on November but if you are in Vienna on Summer, you have to visit here!

Really beatiful park, free entrance. Suitable for long walk, sitting, enjoying the piece of nature in city. Really a must for all Vienna visitors. There were a lot of runners, joggers and young people in the park, it added a charming atmosphere to the venue. We have not been to the palace.
