This is the biggest zoo I've ever been and it is really great! One can see many different species and they should have enough time avialable to see everything. It is also better one not to visit it in winter, because most of the time needs to be spent outdoors. I personally loved the cave with bats, which can traverse... More

We really loved this place. It's beautiful, compact and have got some nice species. The animal look healthy and well taken care of. Good services and reasonable pricing. We had our lunch at Emperors pavillion based on a rewiev here @ TA. Not was the food only tasty and plentiful, but also dirt cheap. We normally avoid eating at zoos... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the world's oldest zoo, located in Vienna, Austria. It was especially fun to enjoy watching the Pandas. This zoo setting is more natural than others I've visited, but very fitting for the wildlife. I do agree that this should be on everyone's "must see" list if you make it to this beautiful city!

Unless all you do is take one picture of the animal and move on to the next, allocate more time for the zoo! A big zoo located in a park, beautiful. Some animals are quite shy, though. Or maybe they were all hiding under the shade. It was a really hot day when I went there so I can't blame... More

This was the worlds first zoo, apparently, but they have really improved it to make it a good modern experience. As soon as you walk in the first this you see is the Panda enclosure. I had never seen a Panda in real life. I was not disappointed..., It was great. I took load of great pictures. The rest of... More

We spent really nice quality time. Big variance of animal species. Bit children oriented place but really fair value adventure.

Seems like they had us staring in empty cages. Don't know if the animals were just really well hidden or what...

The zoo is so beautiful and so clean! There is such a wide range of animals to see as well! So much to see - so many feeding times you can watch. It's meant to be one of the oldest zoos in the world and whilst its maintained its historical feel its so well maintained and in many respects quite... More

I would like to come back again. Its truly beautiful. They have a lot of animals but my favourite was the panda, so nice, he was having a bath when I saw it. I loved the red pandas too, so cute. The bat cave was cool though I didnt saw nothing cause I closed my eyes, a lot of bats... More

We paid over 15 Euros each for seniors admissions, and were not at all impressed with the oldest zoo in Europe. They did have pandas, and orangutangs but other than that, nothing else that stands out in my memory, and the landscaping was certainly nothing to write home about. Save your money, unless your kids are really interested in going.
