More than just the water gardens but they are why many people come here. Entry is by timed ticket due to their popularity and as a consquence there is the odd accasion where groups are a little larger than is comfortable or are "hurried along"

This is a sight you simply must visit! It will be the best and most memorable experience of your Salzburg stay. Don't be afraid to get wet, also don't believe for a minute that you will be able to escape the spray of the trick fountains. So, if you're a woman, carefully pick your garments for the day!

This was an awesome tour. We used our Salzburg cards so the cost was covered! Our kids are ages 5,3,1 and we had a stroller with us. The tour was about 30 people and the guide did the entire tour in English and German.

The trick fountains at Hellbrun are a lot of fun. Be prepared to get wet! Its fascinating how the mechanisms are all run with the power of water. You really need to do a guided tour but it is definitely worth it especially if you get the Salzburg card. This is on our top things to do in Salzburg.
