It would be a shame to visit Cyprus and miss seeing the birthplace of the Goddess of Love. Not much more than a very large rock, though it has a natural, wild feel and hosts numerous nearby beaches where you will not be bothered. Watch out for rip tides in the area.

Whatever time of day you visit Aphrodite's rock, you are in for a beautiful view. Around August/September the sun sets behind the rocks in the direction of Paphos- Take you camera, its stunning.

Nice area for sunbathing. Beach is mainly pebbles but a good sheltered area for swimming. Direct access by bus No. 631.

Ok so I get the history, and would the first to admit its a spectacular coastline but other than seeing the big rock it just didnt do it for me. Def one for the tourist buses, and if you fancy a stop but wouldn't spend more than an hour there.
