Not maintained. Seems to have no interest in the local church is a part of Turkish culture to spend money. But while we watched a lot of beautiful pictures of the pink flamingo summarized. A spectacle not to be paid.

We visited the Hala Sultan Tekke mosque and where greeted by a very nice Imam from Germany. He took his time to talk to us and tell us about the mosque and its holy resting place for the friend of the prophet.
The mosque is situated just by the salt lake and has a beautiful view and a lot of...

Even though this is a very important site for Islam, the people of Cyprus have respected, protected and are actually proud to have such a monument in our country. A very serene and spiritual place, where you can feel the peace and holiness. Beautiful surroundings, and if you are lucky in the winter you may get a glimpse of the...

Charming location, close to the airport and a nice stop off before leaving Larnaca. The mosque is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by palm trees so a good location for photos.
Along the main highway facing the Airport, very easy to get to by car or even walking from McKenzie beach.
Always great to see the old mosques but with the history on this one even more spiritual to experience.
We visited with our 5 month old and access for a pram was not a problem.
Easy to access the Salt...

Beautiful, calm, historical with an air of a warm friendly welcoming atmosphere. I went here more than once as it allowed me to relax a little in comparison to the hustle and commercialised bustle of Larnaca city centre.

In such a peaceful and tranquil setting overlooking the big salt lake. I've visited often as visitors to me always want to see it. Also sometimes drive over there to walk my dog in the vicinity as it is so lovely.
Tekke is of great importance to the Islamic world but nowadays it is an ordinary tekke. It has a great view to the Salt Lake and some history behind it.
I have walked around the mosque and went around it several times in the past but between us, the beauty is outside in the round area. I don’t find the...
