Very delicate and beautuful artwork my Tove Jansson and sculptures by Tuulikki Pietilä. A very unique museum with warm hearted atmosphere.

Well worth seeing. A medium size museum with a diverse collection. The Moomin exhibit is fun and cute.

I love the Moomins and I enjoyed visiting this magical place. The place is a little bit dark, but attractive to all who love books by Tove Jansson. Except original illustration here you can see scenes form the story in the form of miniature diorama. My child especially liked the playroom where she could wear clothes from the fairy tales.

I have been there with my family, and even if my brother and I liked the place, my parents who have not heard about the Moomin before were not that enthousiastic. I hadn't heard of Moomin before so I didn't get much out of this museum. It's a rather small exhibit consisting of mostly small diorama pieces.

If you are a Moomin fan you'l love this place. If you aren't then you'll wonder what the fuss is about! Lots of elaborate dioramas from the TV series and original artwork. There is also a giftshop.....!
