Gee, these Finns have a great attraction just 20mins ferry ride from the city centre. We wandered around for over 4 hours and didn't see everything. Stone walls, tunnels, cannons, an old drydock for ship repairs, an old submarine, old church - a variety of small museums and some eating places. Will definitely make another visit next time.

I just had a group of 30 people in Helsinski and this was well worth the trip to the Island. Great views on the short boat ride over and the island has alot of history.

Get the all inclusive travel card for buses, trams and metro and you can get the ferry for free. A fascinating island with a lot of history and plenty to see. The Piper cafe is well worth a visit and try the Snaps, made from tar (sic). If the weather is good make a day of it.

Local ferry takes you there within 15 min. Local guide did an excellent job in explaining the attraction's history.

Ferry to the fortress sets the evening up! Fantastic location, history everywhere. Food was realy nice. Well recommended.

Went to the island for a day trip via the ferry. Had a great time exploring the islands. Tip : The island involves a bit of walking.
