I marked this street down on our map because it was on trip advisor. We went because we were already at Fotografika and it's just up the stairs from there, so we thought to take the hike up there. It was a good view, but it's not that much better than the view you can get from elsewhere in the...

A fire in 1723 destroyed most of the houses on this 350 meter long street. They built the houses right up again and they are all well-maintained with its details like old street lights on the facade. At the end of the street you have a breathtaking view from the hilltop over the harbor. "Sista styvers trappor" is a narrow...

Nice view over Stockholm. Lots of touristbuses. But they leave quickly after the cameracklicks. The cafeteria - ok but a bit highprized.

Get down at Slussen and you will see Gondolean. Not sure if the lifts were working to go up. There is a steep staircase for you to go up to see the views of Stockholm and it is free. Bring your camera. There are restaurants up there in the evening if you want to see the nite lights in the...

Watch out for the sea-gulls, they are aggressive come from behind and will happily steal and eat you icecream. Go there for the view but somewhere else to have icecream.
For some of the best views of the city, trek out to Fjallgaten (we combined it with a trip to Fotografiska). You can take a bus (two stops) from Slussen or walk (uphill). Well worth the trek.
