The Stockholm Palace is nothing special when compared to many other European Palaces we have toured. It is not fully furnished and many of the rooms are not displayed as interestingly as they could - for example none of the bedrooms have the beds in them. It is worth seeing, but make sure you time your visit to take in... More

I just felt sorry that the time after visiting St Nicholas church next to the palace, was not enough for me to see the inside rooms of Royale Palace.I only realised that the building is very beautiful and impressive and i intend to visit it again in my second visit to Stockholm. So be carefull to include in your tour plan... More

Interesting place to visit, we scooted round the museum and treasury fairly quickly but did one of the free tours of the royal palace which was excellent, the guide was very informative and funny too would recommend

Seeing a palace is always fun, and the one in Stockholm is very impressive. We enjoyed watching the changing of the guard, and walking around the building. Definitely worth either a quick stop, or a long perusal.

It was a nice surprise, the palace is great, I haven't expected such extravagance from Swedish royalties. it is much more luxurious from the inside than the outside. The treasure rooms are also interesting to visit. The ticket includes visit to the palace, treasure rooms and museum Tre kronor. All very interesting. The guides that we had were just great!

We loved watching the changing of the guard outside the palace. The building itself is impressive, as are the state rooms. There is a Treasury, Museum and Armoury to see too.

No wonder the royals don't really live here anymore, so much of it is open to us tourists! Start with the Tres Kroner Museum so you can learn the history, this was what set this palace apart from all the others we've seen. After that, go tour the apartments & see the jewels..of which there aren't that many in there,... More
