One of the cheaper things to do in Denmark. Inside there's a long ramp almost to the top so it's accessible for prams or wheelchairs but there is a flight of stairs which narrow at the top but the views from the viewing platform are wonderful. There's also an exhibition and shop halfway up. Well worth a trip.

First built as an observatory by King Christian IV in the 1600s — one of the oldest in the world — the Round Tower still serves as an observatory and now boasts a library and exhibition space. Visitors can make their way skyward by way of an internal spiral walkway, which hosts an annual unicycle race to the top of the structure. Open daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., until 8 p.m. in summer months. From mid–October to mid-March on Tuesday and Wednesday, both the tower and the observatory are open 7-10 p.m.

For 25 krona it is a very pretty view, but had I been aware that I had to climb a very narrow spiral staircase to get the last bit up on the roof I would never have entered. I'm a bit claustrophobic and I barely made it up. And it didn't really make up for the view. Sure, its pretty...

Good place to visit with a spiral walk to the top inside, with very few steps. Watch out for kids screaming with joy as they run back down.

Like my title says, this is an easy climb up a slope rather then flights of stairs to get a fantastic view of the Copenhagen skyline. Be warned though, there are a few steps at the end, with a tight spiral staircase to the roof, but the views are most definitely worth it.

The entrance fee is reasonable and the walk is mostly up a sloping spiral...childrens' strollers can be taken almost to the top. The tower is one of the symbols of Copenhagen, very old and very popular, because ticket for adult costs only 25 DKK (about 4 Euro), and for children it is just 5 DKK. You can see the town from the small hight of the tower. But that is it, there is nothing more interesting in the tower.

Cheap to go in, virtually no stairs but it does go round and round and round all the way to the top!!! Definately worth it tho as the views and stunning over the city.

The tower is ok to walk up, as there's a only a few meters of stairs and many meters of a slope (spiral walkway). It seemed to be popular among young people and there was a group of school kids just coming up as we left.

There are two places in Copenhagen to get a great view of the city. One is the Our Savior Church in Christianshavn, and the other is the Round Tower just off of the Stroget. The Round Tower was the one more convenient for us and, we were told, is more user friendly.
