A private colelction that got quite big. I met the owner and was able to listen to some wonderful stories.

If you've ever received a toy for Christmas then you must see this place. A wonderful collection and fairly well displayed. Easy to find.

If you are into history of toys and you are curious about how the portuguese toys used to be, this a place to go. If you aren't, you will spend precious time that could be use to see other places in Sintra.

I felt this museum was very disappointing. A huge area was given over to Disney toys, hardly of historic interest and there wasn't much of real interest. The display cabinets were really overcrowded so difficult to see if anything was interesting.

how can one person have such a passion for a hobby I do not understand, but I am so glad that he did. It is like a tour of human civilization.... I am so sorry for today's kids....they missed all of this

It only took us 5 minutes to have a look at these so uninteresting toys! Our two girls hated the museum.

It´s a great collection.. not the greatest. But it came at a good time after a terrible waffle experience just to the right of the same museum. There is little of evefrything for every memory and preference: from all types of dolls, to 1:43 replicas of famous cars, to lead and plastic soldiers, to HO scale electric trains.
