Owner description: A Small bar which opened late 2009 in old town Albufeira a few minutes walk from Hotel Villa Recife - Plays great music difficult to find elsewhere in... more » Owner description: A Small bar which opened late 2009 in old town Albufeira a few minutes walk from Hotel Villa Recife - Plays great music difficult to find elsewhere in the town - Opens at 10.30 am for very good quality breakfast and serves great light meals/snacks until the evening - Mark & Liz (owners) have worked very hard to provide a fresh modern bar with a friendly atmosphere - seemed to be very popular (even attracted a few locals). The bar is now owned by Michael,the long standing barman of Mark and Liz. The bar has not changed and food is still being served.

“double greedy michael.”

good bar and used to be on our rounds. we visit albufeira 6 times a year and when it started doing well Michael put price of lager up from € 2.5 to €3 per pint. not happy with this he also replaced the 500ml glasses with 400ml glasses. double greedy and plenty of other excellent cheap bars to choose from.

visited tunes on tripadvisor reccomendation,good little bar ,micheal and catherine,sociable and very helpful,full of good information,were to eat ,best restaraunts for steak,fish,local food,good for lunches,makes a mean homemade pork pie,also sells john smiths.

“Friendly wee bar”

Visited a few times over new year when staying at the sol e mar. Katherine went out of her way to recommend restaurants and places to go. Tourist information should pay her commission! Michaels home made pork pie is fab. Really friendly wee place and a great spot to enjoy the January sun. Well worth a visit or two.

having passed this bar by chance it became a favourite because of Michael & katherine. They are friendly and welcoming. we had a quick drink at first but after 30 minutes we talked so much that we went back each day. Their prices are great and Michael helped me with internet access.
