Galeries Saint Hubert is so inviting, lots of shops, little places to eat, and very inviting, just off the Grand Place.
A perfect example of this architecture style, combining iron and glass, which is very unique. with all its shops and cafes, a nice place for window shopping and an early breakfast (most of the places open at 10 am)
yes, they are old fashioned. but beautiful. some very old fashioned shops are still there. lus quite a few chocolateries. plus nice coffee shops. and some designer shops. the restaurant in the middle is by the way quite good - it is where the belgians go and et moules et frites!
Very beautiful architecture, and great window shopping! There is a wide variety of stores selling watches, leather gloves, chocolates, art pieces, and of course the average souvenir shops. An elegant passage in the center of the town, it is home to some exclusive chocolat shops, a few cafés that also serve breakfast and nice desserts and fancy bookshops among others.
When in Brussels you should not miss a visit to these galleries, not only to admire the magnificent architechture, but also to window shop (and sample!) at the numerous chocolate shops which are always beautifully decorated for whatever season it is. You could also easily grab a coffee or a light lunch in one of the cafees in the arcade.... More
The place is very nice. It's impressive by all standards. However, the selection and quality of the shops located here do bring everything down. As you can expect from a high end location in the center of Brussels, this place tends to have high end shops. And that's fine. But the average employee working in those shops has a terrible... More
