Although the quality of Pierre Marcolini chocolate is indisputable, and they are very delicious, I can't recommend this chocolatier because of a very unprofessional behavior. I purchased some sealed gift boxes at the shop in Brussels while travelling. When I returned home and gave a box to a friend as a gift, she opened them in front of me to...

The chocolate here is quite light in taste (not so rich that you cannot take a lot at one time) but you can totally taste the flavor which doesn't come at once when you bite on it, but the flavor/aroma just grow in your mouth. I never thought i'd ever spend so much money on chocolates. Marcolini is utterly amazing. I bought chocolate cakes and macarons which were very very good. It's certainly not cheap, but perfect in every way, worth the price.
I have only tried their chocolate assortments. They are my personal favorite, along with zchocolat. If you are Brussels or Paris, try them.
I am glad this place is so far from where I live!
Pierre Marcolini is the most luxurious chocolate, from a country that knows chocolate better then any other. The attention to detail a quality is second to none. I would rate this as the best place to try chocolate in Belgium. From the unique flavour combinations, to wide selection...

Chocolates...excellent. Cake....excellent. Macarons....out of this world! Very polite and helpful staff. Well worth a visit and will stand out from all of the other chocolate sellers in Brussels.
The store itself is very stylish with a black and white theme. The chocolate is displayed on the counter with great detail. The chocolate is smooth and deep, you can tell it is made from high quality ingrediants. Worth a visit even if you don't purchase anything.
Remember this is just a store not a museum so don't expect more than a place where they sell choclate.
The store is the most famous choclate retailer in the town. They sell choclate like a jewler sell jewleries and the choclate even have gold on them. Worth a visit even when not buying anything.
There is another choclate place...

When we walked in, the entire staff was busy getting a shipment and they had a bunch of boxes lined up against the wall so that we couldn't even walk into...
