It was amazing to be in the home of the Ten Booms - a family of amazing faith. To stand in the actual hiding place and sit in the living room where Corrie and her family once sat was surreal. Our tour guide did a wonderful job retelling the story of the Ten Boom's and took us through the home,... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour of Corrie’s house, even more than Anne Franks’ house. At Corrie’s house, the tour starts with a casual conversation about Corrie & her family. The tour then moves throughout the house where you see the hiding place and hear more about the family’s outreach to the all the Dutch people. We took the train from... More

I always grew up with this story, so I felt like I was coming home to finally meet Corrie and her house. It is easy enough to walk to from Brasserie L'Anders and if the tour is full, you can spend your time in the shops and come back at a later time.

Haarlem is a short train journey from Amsterdam and well worth a visit. Lovely town and not quite so busy as Amsterdam. The tours at CtB house are given times as on a clock in the door window. The talk and tour take about an hour. Remember you are in a house so the number of visitors admitted is limited... More

This free tour of Corrie Ten Boom's house, which was the genesis of her book The Hiding Place, was very good. The guide, an older woman, spoke as though she was there when Corrie, her sister, and father were hiding Jews from the Nazi's. After a somewhat lengthy description, we toured the house, and saw the very small (3 ft... More

I would suggest going to this museum to anyone! The guide was such a great story teller and she told such a wonderful message of hope! There is no cost for this museum but their website stated that donations would be appreciated. This museum is not for anyone who cannot climb stairs.

The story of Corrie ten Boom was one that I heard as a young girl. My mother heard her speak in Hawaii and tell her story and how her love of God and the Jewish people prompted her and her family to act and hide as many Jews as possible. The property is pretty easy to locate, once you have... More

We knew the story of the Hiding Place and had reserved a place on the visit while staying in Amsterdam, which I would recommend for groups or larger families. The tour starts in the living room with a narrative of the story and of the Christian faith of those living there during the dark years of World War 2. This... More

It was great and a wonderful experience visiting the house of Corrie ten Boom. The entire tour lasts about an hour and it is free of charge. During the tour we are able to see the Hiding place where she and family kept the Jews during WWII.

We visited the Corrie ten Boom house in Haarlem on a wet April day, but this was soon forgotten as the inspirational tale of the ten Boom family was brought to life by our volunteer guide. He related the story of the ten Boom's family courageous support for Jews and resistance members during the war, of the family's betrayal to... More
