Just walk it. It's lovely and worth doing several times. Old buildings, a beautiful canal, cobble streets. Pretty girls on bikes. What's there not to like?

We're staying for 2 weeks in apartment in canal house on Prinsengracht. There are many shops, cafes, bars along the canal. It's an interesting place to walk, from one end to another, and we're enjoying looking out our windows at the boats, people, and life on the canal.
The houses seem to come directly out of one of these very old children books - it is enjoyable to walk and look on Prinsengracht
Great galleries and small cafés on this canal...pick an afternoon and stroll away the day! Make sure to visit the Antique Shops to look for old Delft Blue Tiles!
Exellent views, spring time, well maintained canals. Could sit and drink a beer for hours looking at canal views.
The Van Puffelen restaurant. Its an old sort of posh 'brown cafe' which offers good foood in a wonderful atmosphere.
Very grand canal among many lovely canals. I found myself here several times. The atmosphere was superb. As mentioned in the title Anne Frank's House is in the vicinity, and also the lovely Westerkirk.
Picturesque canal, interesting buildings and shops, restaurants but not at all over crowded. Could amble in peace exploring and watching the world go by.
Very pretty tree lined canal with many cafes, enjoyed my time walking along watching people ride their cycles and their boats along. The Anne Frank house is well worth the visit along this canal. Very easy to get around on trams.
