A definite must see while you are in Amsterdam. Try to go early. It will still be crowded, but better than in the afternoon. One of the things that stood out for me, and still does, is when (on the video), her father says "who of us ever really knows their children" (I'm paraphrasing, but it does make you wonder...

The museum is well conceived and executed. It documents the tragic struggle of the Frank family. Otto Frank insisted that the rooms be empty.I recommend that you book advanced tickets on the internet. The entrance line was over a block long. Try to enter early in the morning because the space gets crowded.

Book your reservation on-line and avoid the always long line to get into the museum.

Very interesting museum, whether you know next to nothing or are an expert on Anne Frank and WWII there should be something here to interest you, fascinating to imagine it in her time.

So my first recommendation would be to visit this site in the off season, if you have the chance. But even after a long wait, this is something that shouldn't be missed while in Amsterdam. Very...
