A definite must see while you are in Amsterdam. Try to go early. It will still be crowded, but better than in the afternoon. One of the things that stood out for me, and still does, is when (on the video), her father says "who of us ever really knows their children" (I'm paraphrasing, but it does make you wonder... More

The museum is well conceived and executed. It documents the tragic struggle of the Frank family. Otto Frank insisted that the rooms be empty.I recommend that you book advanced tickets on the internet. The entrance line was over a block long. Try to enter early in the morning because the space gets crowded. More

. .. . but book in advance on line (and do this early as they only have so many tickets at each time available in advance). We inadvertantly visited on the public holiday of Ascension Day when the queue was horrendous. If we hadn't booked in advance we certainly wouldn't have bothered. We felt very smug as we bypassed the... More

Very interesting museum, whether you know next to nothing or are an expert on Anne Frank and WWII there should be something here to interest you, fascinating to imagine it in her time. More

As much as I understand the importance and significance of the Anne Frank story, the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam was a disappointing experience. It was virtually empty, was chronically overcrowded, and the contents of the museum would have been much better simply placed in a good book or documentary film (of which of course there are many). Being in... More

I was lucky- I visited the Anne Frank house in march, so I didn't have to wait in line and it wasn't overcrowded inside. So my first recommendation would be to visit this site in the off season, if you have the chance. But even after a long wait, this is something that shouldn't be missed while in Amsterdam. Very...
