Just had a wonderful time at RHS Wisley, with the sun shining, and so many plants in flower. The irises are looking great and the roses are coming into bloom, with many more flowers in full bloom. A must for all gardeners and plant lovers.
All round good place to let children run off energy (but watch out for the areas of 'keep off the grass'). Excellent indoor garden section in the massive glasshouse which has an interactive section for younger children. The butterflies in February are a huge attraction. A wonderful day out. Great to see young families enjoying the lovely weather on Bank Holiday Monday. Picnics galore! There were many visitors from every generation. The gardens were at their best that day.
Wonderful gardens with a magnificent woodalnd walk past the Henry Moore lookalike, super hot house well presented fantastic variety of plants and so well laid out, Eden could learn athing or two here! Lotsof places to eat/drink. Great day! Plant prices not for the faint hearted.
