Quite a chilling place with view on the lake and the mountains, nice Biergarten and loads of relaxed people.

A nice spot to sit and eat an ice cream with a view of the lake on a sunny day. However, non-smokers be warned, there are lots and lots of smokers in Zürich, who congregate here on good (sunny) days, so it does rather ruin the ambiance, particularly for anyone who suffers Asthma or allergies.

Childrens playgrounds, Chinese gardens, Open air cinema, bathing in the lake, swimming in the pool,sun bathing, BBQ-ing, ice creams or just chilling out on the grass watching the world go by.

This is a nice place to hang out by Lake Zurich. In the summers, Orange Cinema shows movies here in the evenings on a giant screen. Lots of people hanging about the grassy area having barbeques or picnics, and you can even take a dip in the water.

This is the typical lakeside hangout. You can swim in the lake, play games and sports or just bronze in the sun. On a sunny weekend, it gets really crowded and the city locals go other places. Nice spot for people watching. There are ice cream stalls and coffee shops around.

The way on the Zurichsee from Bürkliplatz till Zurichhorn is a must see! Of course only on a sunny day, but if so, its perfect for a walk - and at the end take the boot back to Bürkliplatz (normal public transport, you don't have to pay a special "trip")

By the lakeside. You walk from Bellevue on and it will take you more or less 20 minutes to get to the "end" of he park. We loved the peaceful atmosphere considering the proximity to the city center. Found the park very clean and beautiful for kids to play. Although dogs run free, so beware with kids!

Whereas the layout of Zurichhorn amidst a lovely park landscape it is often littered quite badly and frequented by dope smoking heavily drinking teenagers from the lower classes.
