There is nothing to dislike. No car no pollution. So of the best ski area's in Switzerland. We have been there 6 times and we LOVE the Place.

Once again we headed to Zermatt for late season skiing and were rewarded with excellent pistes, friendly service everywhere and a magical couple of days. Whatever the time of year it is difficult to go wrong with a stay in Zermatt.

I enjoy the vast open spaces, you are spoiled for choice where you want to ski, all is good. Make sure you get to your lunch destination in plenty of time as the mountain restaurants are popular. The service is always efficient

Loved Zermatt and would recommend to boarders and skiers of all abilities-plenty to do for everyone. It is however a very expensive resort and ability permitting I would recommend skiing/boarding across to Italy for lunch to save some pennies!

Zermatt is such an amazing resort. The skiing ins phenomenal and covers such a vast area. There are fantastic restaurants that are worthy of Michelin stars, but sublimely low key at the same time. Zermatt has everything one could ever wish for from a ski resort.

Zermatt, although quite large as a swiss ski station is for sure one of the most charming as it has everythign you could ask for: Good hotels, good restaurants for every budget, stunning views, great skiing, good snow...and even a historical part which is completely unusual...and of course the matterhorn!! Lots of vertical and lots of groomed runs. Not that difficult on piste, and one can ski a lot of vertical and give oneself a serious workout

Amazing mountains. Spectacular views of the Alps. The imposing Matterhorn. The way to the Hörnlihütte. Just beautiful. Very expensive. The whole experience is like a mixture of Zurich's Bahnhofstrasse and the Chamonix.
