This is a must do, we had a discount ticket since we have our swiss pass with us. Breathtaking view all the way!!! And you have to do a bit of hiking once you get to First, otherwise it's a total waste! Walk to Bachalpsee only took around 45-60 mins. It's a relatively easy hike.

Wide pistes mainly red and blues. Long runs down to village level. South facing so can get soft in the afternoon

woderful ski area facing south,also excellent sledging routes directly down to village also good resaurants,and easy continuous cable car connections

Though it was snowing in village below, at top of gondola above the clouds all was clear. Ski conditions perfect. Incredible views of Witterhorn, Eiger and all of the surrounding mountains. Suitable for all levels of skiiers.

Great snow, great country, excellent facilities, Hotel Belvedere whilst about 5 mins walk from centre of Grindelwald is well worth the trouble.

loved everything it offereded for kids and families to a romantic couple. tobogganing was the best, amazing long runs and the skiing was beautifully prepared and a lot of choice for all standards. loved it!

Absolute must. We did this instead of the Jungfrau and it was well worth while. Must visit the deck half was down and sit in a deckchair, have a beer and admire the view (weather permitting). We walked down from half way which was fun.

The journey up on the cable car is really fun and once you get to the top the views are breathtaking, we then walked to a small lake that is about an hour away. The walk was very safe for saying its thousands of feet above sea level, we then returned to cafe at the top which served great food,... More

We tried First one day, having spent the rest of the holiday skiing on Kleine Scheidegg. Snow was better on KS, skiing is better on KS, we'll stick to KS
