Ok ideal would be if the view is not too hazy but the trip up there is already worth the detour. You feel like being on the top of the world. Avoid summer months if you don't like many tourists or try to get there during week days. It is a must to see. And please all tourists don't wear... More

We went in middle of May 2012 and that was a good time to go before the main season kicked in and all the crowds started to turn up.We went at 8.30 from Grindelwald where we was staying and got to the top of the Jungfraujoch at 9.30a.m. stopping twice on the way up for photo opportunities. At the top,my advise... A very expensive trip but the pictures while you are going up the Alps or at the top or going back down are magnificent. It costed us 280 Swiss Francs just for the trip by taking the early morning train which starts at 6:30 in the morning. It's more expensive later. It climbs up to 190 per person. More

I have had a very bad experience with "Jungfrau Top of Europe" railway company. By mistake, I have bought my tickets for the day before I was traveling. The train station staff proposed me to buy new tickets and claim for a refund online for the tickets I had not used the day before, which I did. The company just... More

We traveled on the Jungfraujoch railway from Wilderswil to the top of Jungfraujoch and return. The journey is spectacular and should be on everyone's must do list. Great service and fantastic scenery that is well worth the fares. The windows in the side of the Eiger are truely spectacular. More

To climb there with train is a good marketed, overly inflated activity. First of all, it is very long time to climb there by train and very very expensive. It is much more expensive than the train to Zürich. Second, and more important thing is, whenever there are clouds, it becomes foggy and you really see nothing. They do not... More

This place is amazing and if you see the picture you can not estimate the height of mountains on which trains are running without any problems with enormous amount of snow, THANKS for Jungfrau Bahn (Jungfrau Railway). This is not the world highest railway station, It is highest in Europe, therefore, it is called, Top of the Europe. From Interlaken... More

It was definitely one of the more amazing experiences I've had. Take the multi train combo from Interlaken to get you to the cog train up and in the mountain. The train journey to the Jungfraujoch through the rock of the Eiger and Mönch is also an incredible experience. Visitors can enjoy stunning views from two intermediate stations, the Eigerwand... Take the multi train combo from Interlaken to get you to the cog train up and in the mountain. You get out at 11,333 ft and you are inside the Jungfrau Alp. Go up to the Sphinx (11,782 ft) and outside. Go down to the lower exit and out on the glacier and the fun zone. Go out on the... More
