Located on the bank of the river. Not much to look at from the outside but on the inside it is simply beautiful. The main altar, the side altars, the marble, the woodwork absolutely stunning.

The church is one of the finest we have visited. The baroque decor was breath taking. The marble was exquisite. Don't miss the organ in the back but high up. It is one of the newer elements of the church but so very beautiful.

This magical little church has a beautiful interior. The coloring and the chandeliers, also the woodwork done the aisles - well worth the time - and right next to bridges.

One of the most beautiful churches I've ever seen (that includes the Vatican and lots of Italian churches). This church has frescoes and amazing woodwork. It is free to enter and it is not out of the way when walking through Luzern.

Easily, one of the most beautiful churches in Lucerne! Sitting on the River Rousse and in the heart of the city, this church is free to visits and truly spectacular. The domed ceiling frescos are not to be missed.

Unlike most of the Gothic style churches one would find in Europe, this church is of the Baroque style which is more recent (1666AD), consists of cleaner and less complex lines with paintings on walls and ceilings. When you first enter the church, the white interior and gold trimming on some of elements and structures will leave you awestruck. A... More

We when on a day trip from Zurich to Luserne and specifically Mt Titlis.. It was recommended by the tour guide that we must visit, not only the famous Lion monument (beautiful) and the famous Chapel bridge (stunning) in the hour we had in Lusern but also the Jesuitenkirche. What a gem!!!! This church has the WOW factor. It is... More

As one steps out from the Kapellbrucke on the other end, you will find this beautiful church just a few steps away.. The exterior is not very impressive but inside, you could not help but be awed by its beauty. It was built in 1666 by Austrian & Italian architects & believed to be the most beautiful Baroque church in... More

Even if you are not a "church visitor" when you travel, you will want to see this church in Luzern. It's interior is Barock, and not the Barock you will see in Germany, but very light, white, and open, and inviting. Surprise yourself, and check out this beautiful structure from the inside.
