You will spend most of the time on the staircase as there is one piece per floor, maximum two. But they do a workshop for children from 4 to 10 years old on a Saturday morning at 11, where kids and parents can enjoy making their own art. You have to reserve, though.

Not for the faint hearted or the close minded. Give it a go, and maybe you'll change your perspective on what you take for granted.

Dynamic and popular small museum. The collections change regularly. Staff is friendly and keen to chat if you're not coming on a too busy day. Entrance is cheap, free for kids and students.

This is a great museum with 4 floors to visit. I was there a couple of weeks ago for the vernissage of 4 artist who were presenting their collections. I had the chance, together with the group I was with, to chat with the artists and get them to explain the collections and their inspiration. The museum has a permanent... More

Slightly difficult to find as others have mentioned but we got there after some wandering around. The exhibition to the left side of the foyer we didn’t much care for but the exhibition on the right called Mamco was fantastic. Four different floors filled with stuff to explore.

Really good collection of art - spent much longer than planned there because there was so much to see and the artists represented were all new to us. Area around the gallery is great for cafes and restaurants and off the main tourist trail.

Ok so the Genevise are not contemporary artists obviously. But go across the lobby to the other contemporary art foundation - do not know the name - and your eyes will be thrilled. There I saw some truly interesting work. But skip the Modern Art Museum unless you know zip about art - a total waste of time

I visited this museum with a friend, its located on the middle of Geneva city, easy to walk in . Its artistic display reminds you of the old age times, very clean and with a lot to see and learn!
