When Bern is bustling with tourists, it's nice to take a time-out and wander the Botanical Garden, where you can see a view of the Aare River. It's not a huge garden, but like most of Bern it is lovely, well-conceived and well-tended.

Went at a time of year that most things were not in bloom but the paths, bug houses, and green houses are worth a visit!

Veramente un bel luogo dove fare una passeggiata senza pretese. I piccoli boschetti, risvegliano la curiosità delle persone a scoprire di che tipo di pianta ci si trova dinnanzi. Le serre riscaldano il cuore e umidificano i polmoni e lo spirito nei periodi invernali. Un luogo semplice ma pieno di tranquillità. La chiusura serale andrebbe magari posticipata.
