When you have to plan to visit a museum with kids you have to think what they can do that is not bored for them. This palace has some ok museum parts but the huge garden that they have on the back is amazing for the kids to run, to take some sun and to relax. More

Palazzo Pitti is full of painings and art. However, the visitor per painting ratio is not close to where it is at the uffizii. With the more "intimate" athmosphere the experience is much nicer.
