Smaller version of famous garden, won’t take you long to walk around the gardens. Lovely view of Florence.
The View at the top is worth the walk up!

We were hugely disappointed with these gardens as we expected tended and colourful displays. What we got was largely wild and extremely hilly walks. There are a few attractions but the main pond, with a large statue in the centre, was dilapidated and the fountain was turned off

Only 30 euros for a family of four to walk up a steep set of ancient steps and ramble past the odd bush, one or two of which had flowers on. Most of the gardens were off limits. There is a villa with an interesting photography exhibition.
Be warned, you’ll have your ticket inspected 3 times as you cover the 8 or so rooms of the exhibition and then you have to leave-there’s no going back to climb the steps and look at the bushes for one last time..
Our hope was to go to the cafe at the top and watch the sunset, but on the day of our trip, it was closed for an event. No warning of this on entry: just a grab for your cash. Top Tip: 5 mins from the entrance is the Garden of Roses which is just as nice, free, with a lovely cafe and views of Florence, but not the Duomo. You can bring your own picnic.

Beautiful views of Florence & lovely gardens, with a mini dragons canal near the top. Wear good foot wear though as it’s a steep-ish climb to the top!

Came to see the garden in mid-May. Was hoping the purple wisteria was still in bloom, but it wasn't. Still a nice walk through the park and got some views of the city. Ticket price was included with the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens, so make sure to keep your ticket. We started at the palace and walked from Boboli past the fort to Bardini.

Such a stunning view of Florence… I’d highly recommend going to the top to see the city in all its glory.
Added bonus… there’s a cafe/restaurant up top so you can sit there, have a drink & take it all in.

Some of the best views in all of Florence. This was recommended by our hotel staff. It is a bit off the beaten path as it is on the opposite side of the Arno to most attractions and up a long and steep street; however, you will be rewarded with few crowds and amazing grounds and views over all of Florence. Numerous areas to explore and in the spring man blooming flowers. There is also a cafe and some seating if you desire to rest and enjoy the views.

Beautiful gardens with fantastic vista of the city and nice spot for a drink at the top. Highly recommend as it was nice and quiet which was a nice change of pace from the hustle and bustle of the city.

We enjoyed the Bardini gardens. The wisteria was in bloom and there is an area where you walk underneath them. It took about an hour to walk walk through the gardens. We entered at the top off of Costa di San Giorgio and exited at the bottom at Piazza de Mozzi. It is fairly steep walking for old or very young people. We felt this venue to be overpriced at 10e entry fee.

Hi! Is it mandatory to visit the Boboli Gardens first and then the Bardini with the same ticket? Or can I go to the Bardini first?

Bonjour
Presque tous les avis récents disent que ce jardin est mal entretenu et ne vaut pas la peine d être visiter alors que les guides touristiques disent que c'est une merveille.
Quelqu un y est il allé récemment ?
Nous partons à Florence fin mai.
Merci

We will be visiting early February also, how was the weather? sunny or rainy, temperatures?

Italy's weather is mild, but it's still winter. pack cold weather clothes, it rains about 1 in 4 days and fairly overcast most days.
The city will be busy, but the sights will be less impressive. I would suggest late spring or early fall. Vegetation and the sunlight bring out the city better

Hello! I will be visiting Florence April 9th-13th. Have the flowers started to bloom? I am especially interested in the wisteria. Thank you in advance!

If I want to buy the tickets to Bardini Gardens and also go to Boboli Gardens after, which entrance of Bardini garden should I use? I want to go to Bardini garden FIRST and then continue to Boboli Gardens and some of the museums included in the combined ticket.
