This was one of my favourite areas in the city - we saw it during the day but we really enjoyed it most on our walk back from dinner in the evening. The buildings and statues look especially beautiful lit up at night and there was a wonderful classical guitarist playing nearby. Definitely worth seeing!
This was busy with folks enjoying the statues. You can choose to be in sun or shade, and can sit along the edge of the wall to rest your feet while you gaze at an impressive collection of statues and the fountain. Nice vibe for a place to hang out and soak in the atmosphere.
Enjoyed the piazza with it's sculptures, restaurants. Nice atmosphere at night. Palazzo Vecchio is beautifully lit up.

It's a gathering place for many people and we found it to be very crowded during the days, but we just stared at the buildings and the architecture most of the time looking...
