This area was used by phoenicians and tomans. Diuring the pisan period this area was lout of the wall of the city. In this site was locate the old arsenal. It was resored and now houses:
National Archeological Museum with Neolitic, early bronze Nuragic, Phoenician-Punic (the tophet of Tharros is evocatively reconstructed to represent the Phoenician-Punic period), mediaeval collections.
