With just 2 full days to enjoy in Verona, my husband and I decided to book a tour with Lorella for our first morning in town. I am very interested in history, especially The Romans, so asked Lorella ahead of time to focus on Roman Verona for our tour. We had a wonderful 2 hours seeing the sights and learning... More

Valeria took me on the Carlo Scarpa tour in September this year, I visited Verona for the specific purpose of taking the tour to see the work of the Architect Carlo Scarpa. I was not at all disappointed, Valeria arranged access to the non-public areas and interiors of the Banco Popolare (which I would not have been able to do... More

Hello John, thank you for your nice feed back. Verona is a small city and I think that its identity is hidden in small details: that's why it's been a pleasure to take you around, because of your sensitivity for little things. And... you came here from very far away, so that's even more relevant for me! Take care! More

We took the 'Verona for the First Time' tour with Lorella. She was an excellent guide! Great information, our entire group loved it (10 people). Saw all the highlights. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone short on time that wanted to get a feel for the city. She even met us at our hotel, and walked us back... More

We took the train from Rome to Verona and it was very fast with lovely views of the countryside. Valeria arranged for a driver/car to pick us up from the train station; the driver then took us up to a hill where we got a birdseye view of the city, river, etc. It is a beautiful, city on a river... We are a family of five (children 8, 11 and 13) and went on a 3 hour guided tour with Lorella in Verona (July 2011) and were not left disappointed. She is probably the best private guide our family has ever had. She was very lively, full of stories and attentive to our children. Her ability to discuss with us... More

The tour started in Verona in the inner city. The churches, historical monuments and sites visited were very interesting and the guides were quite knowledgeable. We finished up at a nearby wine maker who gave us a very thorough explanation of the history of the winery and a terrific tasting. For those who's wine experience are cab's, merlot's and chard's... We had a lovely day with Valeria in a wonderful city. Pack you walking shoes, and she will show you many great sights. She is laid back and easy to spend time with. It was not an intense tour with so much information that your mind tires. Instead, it was more of a conversation of the city, and about the... More

Verona is really a place to see, not only by lovers but also as normal tourist. The center is somethink worth to be seen. The Arene Romane ( Romans Arenna) can be visited and during the summer they organize outdoor lyrical concerts. Than the walk to the Giulietta's Balcony is also very delightful. What i loved the most is that... More
