All I can say it is a beautiful place, you have to witness it as it can't be described in words. Just try to be early in the morning to avoid much rush

My girlfriend and I spent a good our at this beautiful scuola. It's a little expensive and the old lady at the entrance was so grumpy, but it's really a great experience. Remember to take the audio guide (included in the price); it's really useful and directs you through all the beautiful paintings in several languages.
do not forget to get your free hearphones with the precise explanations about all the paintings. It is free and you can get it at the cashier when paying the ticket.
Some of the best paintings in Venice are contained in this small building. The story of St George by Carpaccio (my favourite Venician artist. More by him in the Accadimia. Highly recommended
An exquisite collection of Tintorettos, and for the foot-weary, an attraction of manageable size. Perhaps the highlight (along with the Peggy Guggenheim collection) of my time in Venice.
with the audio guide you get a good feeling of the whole place in a relatively short time. the grand halls and the story of the pictures makes this worth the hour+ we spent here and worth the eur 10 entrance

Tintoretto's work is amazing for its complexity and dynamism and to see how all the parts fit together is hard to take in completely in one visit but the acoustic guide...

We visited the Leonardi Da Vinci exhibition and found it quite fascinating. From memory, I think it was 7 euro per person.
